Apprenticeship as a photo laboratory technician at Fa. “Foto-Quelle”.

Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, class for textile art and surface design. Degree: Diplom.

1979
Start of work as a freelance artist, including intensive engagement with etching and photography. Consulting collaboration with Fa. Kusi fashion and Fa. RK-Kreation.
1980
Creation of a large textile object for the Bundesanstalt für Arbeit (Federal Labour Office).
1981
Own printmaking workshop from this point on.
1982–1987
Assistant to Prof. Eusemann. Collaboration on the design of various industrial products.

Member of the examination board for interior architecture, graphic design, textile design and gold- and silversmithing at the Academy of Fine Arts.
